From Haslar marina at Gosport we had an uneventful passage across the English Channel and into the bay of Biscay.
We then encountered very strong headwinds in Southern Biscay, and down the Portuguese Coast, and therefore made a few unscheduled stops at Viana do Castello, Peniche and Lagos, due to stress of weather.
As we crossed the bay of Cadiz, we suffered a rigging failure which resulted in an overnight stop at the Marina Americano at Cadiz. Further delays in Gibraltar for spare parts and service meant this whole trip took longer than usual.
We finally arrived in Barcelona on 13th November.
