This 42' Nelson motor yacht was new and was collected from the yard at Bucklers Hard on the Beaulieu River.
The Nelson 42 is a first class 6 berth motor yacht, capable of comfortable cruising at 20 knots. The twin Caterpillar diesels performed beautifully throughout, with apparently no effort at all.
After leaving Beaulieu we ambled down to Falmouth.
Then on round the Lizard to Ireland making stops at Kinsale and Dingle before berthing in Galway
The weather was a mixed bag of good and bad, but nothing at all troubled this splendid boat!
The new owner and an engineer from Nelson were aboard for this trip.
